Can I Change the Port of Entry After My Vietnam E-Visa Is Issued?
Yes. You can enter Vietnam through any eligible port of entry that accepts the e-visa, even if a different port was selected in the application. Please check this link for the latest list of 83 eligible ports of entry and exit for the Vietnam e-visa:

1. General rule
E-visas can be used only at the international border gates approved for e-visa entry and exit. This means the port must be an eligible airport, land border gate, or seaport on the official e-visa list.
2. Can the port of entry be changed?
Yes.
The port of entry is presently not printed on the issued e-visa itself. Also, official guidance states that e-visa holders are not required to leave Vietnam through the same border gate where they entered. For this reason, changing from one eligible port to another eligible port is usually acceptable after the e-visa has been issued.
3. When is it allowed?
You can normally change the port of entry if:
- Your e-visa is still valid;
- Your passport details are correct;
- Your new port is on the official e-visa border gate list; and
- All other visa details remain valid.
4. When can it be a problem?
You may have a problem if:
- The new port is not on the official e-visa list;
- Your passport number does not match the issued e-visa;
- Your e-visa validity dates do not cover your travel date; or
- There is another error in the visa information.
5. Local tips
Before traveling, check whether your new airport, land border gate, or seaport is included in the official e-visa list.
- If your travel plan changes from one eligible port to another eligible port, you can use the same e-visa.
- If your new port is NOT on the approved e-visa list, you CAN NOT use the issued e-visa for entry through that port.
